4-Year Anniversary Giveaway: Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

1. Sponsor

Doulas of San Diego ("DoSD"), hello@doulasofsandiego.com. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from any liability related to this giveaway.

2. Entry period

Entries open Monday, November 9, 2026 at 12:00am Pacific Time and close Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time.

3. Who can enter

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be currently pregnant and live in San Diego County, California
  • Have an estimated due date between January 1, 2027 and March 31, 2027
  • Not be a current DoSD client, and not have already signed a client services agreement with DoSD for this pregnancy

Doulas, employees, and contractors of DoSD, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.

4. How to enter

Complete all three steps. Entries missing any step are not eligible.

  1. Follow @doulasofsd on Instagram.
  2. Comment on the official giveaway post, tagging one local friend who is also pregnant. The tagged account must belong to a real person other than you. Please only tag friends who would welcome it.
  3. Complete the entry form at form.typeform.com/to/ikLSL1Oq.

Limit one entry per person. Additional comments or forms do not increase your chances. Your tagged friend is welcome to enter on their own if they are eligible.

5. Prize

In celebration of DoSD's four-year anniversary, one (1) winner will receive four (4) complimentary overnight postpartum doula shifts with a professional certified postpartum doula from DoSD, in the winner's home in San Diego County. Each shift runs 9:00pm to 6:00am. The four shifts are used across the first six weeks after the baby is born. The approximate retail value of the prize is $2,700.

Prize conditions:

  • The prize has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged or substituted
  • Shifts are scheduled with the winner during DoSD's postpartum planning session, based on doula availability
  • Shifts not used within six weeks of the baby's birth expire
  • The winner must sign DoSD's standard Client Services Agreement, which includes the cancellation policy and parking fee terms, before the prize begins
  • The prize includes overnight shifts only and does not include labor support, daytime support, or other services
  • Postpartum doula services are non-medical and do not replace care from a physician or midwife
  • The winner is solely responsible for any taxes on the prize. DoSD may report the prize value to tax authorities as required by law and may request a Form W-9 from the winner

6. Winner selection

The winner will be chosen in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about Monday, November 23, 2026. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. DoSD will verify eligibility, including the comment tag on the giveaway post, before the drawing. Two alternates will also be drawn.

7. Winner notification

The winner will be contacted by Instagram direct message and by email on or about November 23, 2026 and has 24 hours to respond and confirm their eligibility. If the winner does not respond in time, cannot be reached, or is found to be ineligible, the prize passes to the first alternate, then the second. If the winner's circumstances change so that the prize cannot be used as described, DoSD may, at its discretion, award it to an alternate. The winner will be announced publicly on or about November 24, 2026.

8. Communications and data

By entering, you agree that DoSD may email you about this giveaway, including the results and a follow-up offer for DoSD services. You can unsubscribe at any time. DoSD will text you only if you opt in on the entry form. We use your information only to run this giveaway and to follow up about DoSD services, and we do not sell it.

9. Publicity

The winner agrees that DoSD may announce their first name, last initial, and city. DoSD will ask for separate written permission before sharing a photo, testimonial, or any other detail.

10. General conditions

DoSD may disqualify any entry it believes is fraudulent, automated, or made through multiple accounts. DoSD may cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if it cannot run as planned. All decisions are final. To the fullest extent allowed by law, DoSD is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries, technical failures, or any injury or loss connected with the prize. This giveaway is governed by California law.
